Week 53- On the Road

Well the fact of the matter is, we got carried away listening to dad´s recordings. Ill be talking next week. Love you guys so much.

Dad: If you could make like as many recordings as your heart desires about anything you want to have to do with flying, and if you go on a trip maybe record a discussion about getting into flying or something with the captian. That would be amazing. These next 2 (i think) transfers with elder freeman will be full of long road trips and your commentary just makes it like 100 times better. Any stories and stuff are well recieved. Although it may be boring doing it know that you have your son and one of his best friends on the other end basically jumping up and down from excitement listening to them.

Thanks mom for all you do! Loved all the pics and seeing page´s baby. Cool stuff wes on your lifting. Love the monkey suit haha. Coop and Ellie ya´ll are awesome! keep up the great stuff.
Coop- you going to that sandwich shop? if you are I hope it goes well. If you´re on the border still, get a job at an airport.

Yall are the best!!

Hey dad can you send the pics of pay scale, timeline, pamphlets etc to E Freeman? thanks

Enjoy the pics and videos!

Week 52- "Teach Repentance and Baptize Ninos!"

Where has time gone?
This week has been too eventful but it's crazy how much the Lord blesses us as long as we put our part in. We've been able to find a bunch of people this week that weve never seen before... sometimes I question where they've been hiding this whole time, but they've been here the whole time it's just in the Lord's timing.
So I was able to go on exchanges with Sister Waters this week and I had a blast! We are both from Texas and this was our 1st real snow fall. The sad part is that her original call was to Puerto Rico and then they got evacuated from the hurricane and that night she got the call saying that she's going back. We love and the Utah Provo Mission is losing such an amazing spirit and missionary. She taught me so much in just being your genuine self with others and never forgetting to have fun along the way.
Sometimes I can find myself being so focused that it's just work, work, work. But she gave me that beautiful reminder that the mission is so much more than that. I love her so so much and I can only say good about her.
This week is a little weird as I reflect back on the fact that this time last year I was 2 days away from getting on a plane to Mexico. I miss and love how far I've come. There definitely have been days where i didnt think i was going to make it but the Lord is ALWAYS going to help you when you are doing something for the good of others. I have learned so much and I can't wait for these next 6 months.. to embrace every moment to its fullest.

Con Amor,

Week 50- "Sometimes the Most Real Things are Things We Can't See"

This week we had a zone conference and I learned so much just about how this church operates and with the passing of our beloved Prophet & President of the church people can become confused how the next President is chosen but the beautiful thing is, is that there is an order to everything in this church and there is no need for worry or question. I learn something new everyday in this church and that just shows you that even us as missionaries really don't know much, but we know enough. Enough to know that our Lord loves us and that he won't leave us to fear or become confused, enough to know that there is a Prophet of God in these to help and guide us in these times, enough to know that there was a time that a boy was confused and didn't know which church to follow or listen to so he knelt down and prayed and received an answer from God the Father and His son Jesus Christ, enough to know that this boy trusted in Him to guide and help him to soon enough receive the power of God called the priesthood and would then soon use that power to translate plates from an unknown language to what we know as today as the Book of Mormon. I know it is another testament of Jesus Christ. These are His words that were given to prophets that lived here in the Americas during the same time that Jesus Christ was on the Earth in Jerusalem. As it says in Ezekiel that there are multiple sticks (Judah = the Bible & Joseph = the Book of Mormon) and they shall become one. (Ezekiel 37:15-19)  There are many evidences that this is His word and if you believe the one then you belive the other because you cannot have one without the other.
(This = the Book of Mormon & That = the Bible)
"For behold, this is written for the intent that ye may believe that; and if ye believe that ye will believe this also; and if ye believe this ye will know concerning your fathers, and also the marvelous works which were wrought by the power of God among them." Mormon 7:9
Let's just say that I love the Lord with all my heart and I'm so grateful for my loving parents (happy birthday today, papa) who decided at certain points in their lives to listen with a humble heart and read these words and know for themselves that it is true.
Open your hearts and you will feel peace. Open your heart and let the Lord guide you in your every move.

Con Amor,

P.S. I have a new companion! Her name is Hermana Porter! She's so great and so spiritual. I've already learned so much from her. I definitely miss Hermana Kump too much but I learn so much from every new companion I have!

I don't think the pitbull was amused that I was trying to take pictures with it.

My running to get mail outfit. Sis Kump likes it!

 My homie!

Live on ...

This pugs face explains my life every time someone asked me what I want to do with my life after the mission... let alone that I looks like I havent gotten sleep in this pic.

Jesus!! He just kinda likes my little pony.

I liked his shirt and the fact that he was making ribs.

 She caught it!

We had fun at the dollar store!

Week 49- New Years

Hola hola!

Hey I'm glad someone finally told me the name of the baby! Michelle told me options but never the official.
I'm glad you had a fun time for new year. We were at a members house for dinner but then we have to go home and stay there all night. But everyone was partying in the complex and I've been sick so I've been sleeping lightly and so I didn't sleep at all... I was so upset. But it's ok. Today were just playing games and we can't be out tonight but we are together as a district watching a movie.
It's weird to think I'm going home this year...
Any new years resolution?
Love the pictures!

Week 48- FELIZ NAVIDAD!

this is something I said to man a couple weeks back and I will always remember this moment for him and for myself. It wasn't me who was talking, it was the Spirit but I cannot tell others enough how truly important this is. If we aren't humble how are we expecting to have the Lord help us? If we want to change, If we truly have that desire to become more like Him, to come unto Him.. then we have to be humble.
¡FELIZ NAVIDAD!
¡FELIZ AÑO NUEVO!
I cannot believe how fast the time just flies by and it doesn't seem to stop.
Common question people ask missionaries is where are you from & how long you have been out.. That second question has become a killer for me because people love to say that I'm on that downward slope to being finished.. But don't worry this just gives me more of a motivation to first not tell people how long I've been out anymore and how much this gospel means to me a d makes me want to go out and find those that are willing to listen and be humble to listen to the Lord and change their lives for the better.

For now I will leave you with pictures!

Con Amor,
Hermana de Benito
