Sister deBenito's Mission: Week 11- "I'm Not Cheating, You Guys are Just Bad at Playing the Game"

There wasn't a lot of proselytizing this week aka. not a lot going on because I was in meetings pretty much all week. The reason why.. My companion Hermana Brooks is a sister training leader for this area (it's a calling that sisters can have to just take care and be there if any of the other sisters that need someone to talk to, also they go on exchanges to make sure the other sisters are doing what they are supposed to be doing). It can be a busy calling at times and so usually the companionship is made up of 2 sister training leaders so they can help each other. Well I can't be a sister training leader because I'm still in the first 12 weeks of being out in the mission field and I need to be trained on everything that is going on. Which means my sister training leader is also my trainer! This is the 2nd time in the history of the mission for this to happen. They don't recommend it because it's hard to do both at once but somehow Hermana Brooks does it! Anyways long story short as a sister training leader you are over 2 zones and there are meetings thst happen every month and they usually land on the same week. We have to coordinate and plan one day with the zone leaders then you have to give the meeting another day with the zone leaders, and of course we do all of it twice. It takes time, which means not a lot of time to go and teach.

What a cool experience it has been though to be a part of a companionship that is not common and see different aspects of the mission. What a strong mission we have and see how much everyone cares about each other and their investigators. If there would be one thing I could say from this week is that true missionaries don't care about the numbers, they care about the fact that everyone gets the opportunity to hear about our loving Savior, Jesus Christ and especially with Easter we are so excited to share all we can about how God lives today and He wants us to live with Him again!

I love this gospel and do the fact that I know God lives and loves me personally.
