Tuesday- We did service at a donation center named Tabitha's Way. We got to stock all the food (mostly bread!) and just had fun organizing things! You can honestly make anything fun:)
We were able to find someone new and she is super receptive to our message. Hermana Brooks and I felt that we needed to go to a certain house where we have been teaching a 10 year old boy named Giovanni. He answered the door and so did someone else! It was his aunt Norma she just moved to this are a month ago and sat down for the lesson. We ended up committing her to read some of the Book of Mormon and setting up another lesson for this week!! YAY
Wednesday- We had exchanges and I was with 2 others sisters so we were a trio for the day! It was a lot of fun and we had a good amount of success that day! We had a lesson with David and Beth who are both on date for the 20th this month! Which is a miracle in itself! They are both so ready and want to do everything they can to be ready for that date.
Later on we were able to find another person who we have been trying to find for about a month now and we finally caught him at home. We talked about the Atonement and how it is so important in our lives. I was really spiritual.
Gabriella was home! She is a younger investigator and always has awesome questions for us. Shes been so scared with everything happening in the world right now and we promised her that if she prayed to her Heavenly Father earnestly that he would comfort her. She promised and we had a great lesson on the Plan of Salvation or what i like to call it.. the Plan of Happiness. She thought it was so cool that there is a plan for each and everyone of us and we can return to God again and live with our families for forever. I love this gospel.
Thursday- We took a lot of time at service! We went to Provo and in the Towne Center Mall there is going to be an art exhibit of art work from the students of Provo High School. Its going to be awesome! We were able to contact and find some families we had been trying to find and we just shared a message!
Friday- We were able to have another lesson with Gabriella and 2 of her friends! It was an awesome discussion about what makes our church different from the others. One of the friends was a member so she was able to help and also we were able to answer some of her questions too! Gabi is awesome its just hard for her to come to church since her parents are not interested in going:(
Saturday- We helped move the trio sisters to another apartment down the street! Its awesome how everyone comes together and help each other. Pretty much all the missionaries in our zone were there helping out! That's the awesome thing about missionaries! They want to help and do service!
Sunday- Our investigators David and Kevin came to church. It was David's first time stepping into one of our churches and he stayed all 3 hours. He absolutely loved it. When we asked what he thought, he said it exceeded his expectations and called us angels that had been sent to him to help him find happiness! What a cool feeling it was to be a part of something so special. Hermana Brooks told me later that she had prayed that the lessons and talks would help him and it did. God knows what we need and will help us always in His time. Just trust in Him.
Monday- We went on a hike today in Diamond Fork. it was beautiful and a much longer hike than we thought haha! But we got to see some natural hot spring and it was awesome! I love the mountains and the fact we can go hiking on our Mondays!!
This week has been full of miracles! I absolutely love seeing the change in people as they learn more about Jesus Christ. I'm so blessed to be in this position!!
