This month is temple month so my district has the opportunity to go to the Payson temple next Tuesday and we are so excited! So, my preparation day next week will be Tuesday so be expecting your email on Tuesday, not Monday! :)
This amazing week was filled with meeting after meeting after meeting. :)
We had MLC (Mission Leadership Council) on Tuesday where we were taught and talked about how we can better our mission and help others. So at MLC, President and the assistants train us on a few subjects. Then us as Sister Training Leaders and Zone Leaders go back to our zones and train the rest of the missionaries on the same subjects during Zone Training Meeting. I absolutely loved it! ....even if it was almost an 8 hour-long meeting ;) I absolutely love that I'm able to meet all of these wonderful missionaries who are such great examples to me.
We had two Zone Training meetings in which Sister Perez and I had to train at. It was super fun! I am so lucky that Heavenly Father has placed all of these wonderful missionaries in my path. I am learning so much from them and it's wonderful.
We got to help the youth of our ward with a missionary night for mutual this week. Us, the zone leaders, and a recently returned missionary (came home less than a week before this activity) were all on a missionary panel and the youth just asked us all kinds of questions like is it hard to be away from your family? What time do you wake up? What's the most spiritual lesson you've been a part of? What do you do for p-day? Have you ever skydived/would you? Just a bunch of random questions so it was way fun. I miss mutual!
We had a lesson with Gabby, our 10 year old investigator and we taught her the ten commandments and why they are important. Gabby is great! After every commandment that she learned she would act out a little skit explaining the commandment. They were definitely very interesting skits and it was super fun! I guess whatever helps her remember! Probably one of the most fun lessons I've been a part of!
We did a lot of service for Drifter this week. Drifter is awesome! He is almost 80 and still rides his motorcycle every day! He calls us his kids. It's super adorable. He then did a bbq for us and the elders who helped him build his front porch. It was delicious! Then we had a lesson with Beth and David and they're awesome! David kept thanking us how much he was thankful for the missionaries from saving him. He had a very different type of lifestyle before he met the missionaries. David and Beth are super adorable and we love them so much.
I hope that you all have an amazing, miracle-filled week. Keep an eye out for how Heavenly Father has His hand in your life. I'm in constant awe of the immense love that our Father in Heaven has for each and every one of His children. It's simply amazing.
Love you all.
Hermana de Benito
